Sachin Chitgopkar has over 20 years of experience in consulting and professional services roles and has led several large projects serving utilities across North America. He has specialized in Smart Grid technologies and related Business Analytics Solutions and has direct hands-on experience with all facets of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Meter Data Management Service (MDMS), Outage Management Service (OMS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) technology. Sachin is a TOGAF® 9 certified enterprise architect and was formerly with Infosys, SSPInnovation, Landis + Gyr, and Schneider Electric.
Dr. Aniss Fradi is a skilled power systems engineer with more than 20 years of experience in contemporary transmission and distribution power systems applications and operations, real-time energy markets support, and product/project development and management related to ISO/RTOs, government agencies, and electric utilities/companies. Past positions held include: OSI, ISO New England, DNV GL/Kema Inc., Telvent/Schneider Electric, and AREVA T&D/Alstom Grid.
Scott Morgan has over thirteen years of experience working with science and technology programs. He has provided data analysis, program management support, research, technical writing, and editing on a range of projects for clients in Federal and State governments and in the private sector. Scott primarily focuses on cybersecurity issues, data analysis, and program and project management. He has a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Scott was formerly a senior energy analyst in the Sustainability and Transportation division with Energetics.
Mariana Kamel recently received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tennessee. She is a senior consultant with experience in addressing a range of real-world challenges and concerns for the power system industry, such as: operation of nuclear power plants auxiliary loads and their protection systems in the event of an open-phase fault; correct operation of transmission lines’ protection systems when geomagnetic induced currents blocking devices are present along the fault path; and the reliable integration of smart photovoltaic systems.
