Muhammad Humayun, Ph.D., is a Principal Consultant at EnerNex and has been with the Power Systems Group since 2016. He has over 15 years of project experience in several countries. Muhammad’s expertise includes distribution and power system planning, operation, and control, renewable modeling and integration, reliability studies, and lightning performance. Muhammad has conducted various projects related to harmonics, equipment energization, model development, grounding evaluation, reactive power compensation, volt-var optimization, short-circuit, temporary over-voltage, resonance, insulation coordination, distribution state estimation, and smart inverter performance evaluation using power system tools such as PSSE, EMTP, PSCAD, ASPEN OneLiner, IEEE Flash, OpenDSS, CYME, Synergi Electric. He has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and a book chapter.
