EnerNex managed an engagement to develop a smart grid roadmap, architecture, and business case for the LADWP.
Following an initial assessment of the organization’s plans and readiness, EnerNex worked with the client to define a smart grid strategy that served as guidance for the development of the roadmap and architecture. The ten-year roadmap consisted of a prioritized set of defined projects including smart meter deployment, demand response for large and small customers, enhanced transmission system operations, volt-VAR control, and integration of distributed generation.
