EnerNex was engaged to document and publicize the Smart Meter Texas (SMT) solution. The SMT solution is a common data repository for smart meter data in Texas which can be accessed by customers, and, with customer approval, retail electric providers, and third parties. SMT also facilitates the provisioning of HAN devices.
As part of the engagement two separate documents were prepared:
- Overview of Smart Meter Texas, an executive summary-level document targeted to audiences looking to have a high-level understanding of the SMT solution.
